Hidden Light is a photographic exploration of fluorescence and phosphorescence within subterranean environments. This gallery presents images captured in caves and mines, where naturally occurring minerals and elements exhibit visible luminescence under shortwave and longwave ultraviolet (UV) light. From calcite and aragonite to willemite and fluorite, these specimens react by emitting visible wavelengths due to excitation of electrons—a phenomenon both scientifically fascinating and visually striking.
