1 - 2 -1 Landscape workshops
Location Essex / Suffolk
Flexible 1 - 2 - 1 workshop tuition can be tailored to suit your individual interests and needs, workshops would typically be held along the Essex or Suffolk Coastline where I have a variety of different sites that I know well after many years of exploring the hidden corners of my local landscape.
The exact sites chosen will be subject to your interests, weather and time of year.
Ideally for this work shop you would need a DSLR or bridge camera with tripod and any filters you may have ND, polariser etc.. a basic understanding of your camera controls would also be beneficial.
A set of LEE ND filters are available for use subject to the thread size of your camera lenses.
During the workshop we will look to explore all aspects of the landscape and what goes into making a great photo! Planning, composition, focusing, light, balance, flow, detail, separation, mood, resting place, border patrol, simplification, adapting to the light and changing weather, and final image visualisation.
We will also discuss the technical aspects for photography. Choice of lens, shooting mode, shutter speeds and apertures, ISO, polarising filter, ND filters, ND filters, tripods and general equipment.
Workshops typically run from 07:30 – 13:30 and 14:00 - 20:00 in the summer months. These are dependent on the time of year sunrise and sunset times. I would usually look to incorporate either sunrise or sunset depending on your preference and the practicality of the start times.
There will also be an option to discuss lightroom and Photoshop image processing during the workshop. I will also be able to review images of the day via follow-up email where I can also answer any further questions you may have at no extra cost.
Included within the tuition:
